El Sentinel Newspaper

El Sentinel’s main objective is to be the most valuable source of information for the diverse Hispanic Community in Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

El Sentinel is an established Spanish-language broadsheet newspaper, produced by an independent editorial staff in collaboration with Orlando El Sentinel, South Florida Sun Sentinel and Tribune Company.

Each week El Sentinel keeps its readers informed with three sections:

  • Noticias (News): This section includes community and local news stories, consumer articles, immigration questions, health, national and international news. The section also devotes space to news from Latin America and the Caribbean and an editorial page with local and international columnists.

  • Diversion (Entertainment): The entertainment section where
readers can find the latest on concerts, music, travel, movies,
fashion and food. It also includes celebrity profiles and movie
    and restaurant reviews.

  • Deportes (Sports): Focus on community and local sports, from little league baseball and suburban soccer teams to the Marlins, the Heat and the Dolphins. Each week features a local “Estrellita” (little Star), a budding athlete (boy or girl) from our community. This feature is very popular with our readers. This section also includes business content and a weekly auto column.
