Vice President & Advertising Director
Ray Daley was named Vice President & Advertising Director in July 2005 after previously serving as Director of National and Retail Advertising. As Advertising Director, Daley is responsible for all print, online and Direct Mail revenue of more than $136 million annually.
During his 32-year career dating back to 1979, Daley has held key management positions at Sun Sentinel, including Classified Director, Director of National and Retail Advertising and various sales manager positions.
In 2003, Daley was recognized for his accomplishments by winning the CAMEO Award, an honor that the Newspaper Association of America (NAA) gives to the nation’s top Classified Advertising executive. And, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Board of Realtors named him Affiliate of the Year in 1998.
Director of Digital Sales
Red leads our Digital Sales team of account executives, client support, project managers and digital architects. Red’s team is focused on driving business results for our customers with the most innovative and creative digital marketing solutions. It is her mission to share our passion for innovative technology and cutting edge opportunities with the community to help our advertisers succeed in a challenging and competitive marketplace.
Red has an extensive media background having all categories of media: Classified, Retail, Direct Mail, Preprints, Database, and Digital Divisions. She is a leader in multi-platform campaign development including all media elements delivering the best results for advertisers.
DOUGLAS F. SCROGGIN
Director of Major Retail Advertising and Targeted Strategies
Doug Scroggin is the Sun Sentinel Company’s Director of Major Retail Advertising and Targeted Strategies, responsible for the categories of department stores, furniture, telecommunications, financial, package goods, high tech, travel, automotive, real estate, recruitment and el Sentinel advertising. In addition, he oversees the South Florida operation for Tribune Direct, our database and direct mail business, as well as City & Shore magazine.
During his 25-year career with the newspaper, Doug has served in various sales positions, including Retail Sales Manager for South Palm and Greater Fort Lauderdale and National Sales Manager, prior to his current role.
President/Forum Publishing Group
Clarice has been President of Forum Publishing Group since March 2013. She began her media career at Newsday on Long Island in 1979. Hired as a Circulation Supervisor, she moved to Local Advertising Sales in 1989. Later she became Local Sales Manager and Local Advertising Director. In addition to her Forum Publishing responsibilities, she manages the Co-op, Events, Training and Special Sections team.
MICHAEL E. ZIMMERMAN
Director of Local Advertising
Mike has been the Director of Local Advertising since July of 2009. His career at the Sun Sentinel began in 1984 as a Senior Accountant. Mike was involved with numerous startup publications and services as the Business Manager of Development. In 1997 Mike moved from Development to Advertising where he ran our local territory team for several years. Over the past ten years in advertising Mike’s responsibilities have included overseeing sales teams for our TMC/Insert program, Direct Mail and Data Base programs, and our Major Account Group.
